and to divide us is a mistake. and they stepped up and said knock it off -- >> that's just not the image that comes across. what the rest of us see is a state that is totally divided, and appears to be anti-immigrant. how do you get this other side out? it has got to be very difficult to recruit people to sen the message that you embrace diversity. >> that's why i'm on your show right now. >> well, god bless you. [ laughter ] >> the reality is oftentimes the folks that get elected to the legislature come from the extreme ends of the parties. when our leaders take divisive positions, they don't represent this state. in arizona. we are normal we like people. we like diversity. we have a very bright future where we're going to focus in on education -- >> we need more guys like you on tv. because you have got joe arpaio out there and that's what everybody sees. so how would you like to see immigration reform so you could carry out your job's agenda. >> we need comprehensive immigration reform. we need to pass the dream
